Privacy Policy

Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the public Deadly website, including the portfolio pages, the Get Quote form, and the live chat widget. It explains what this website collects, why it is used, who else may receive it, and how to ask about it.

It does not govern Silkroad private servers, forum accounts, or other websites that are only linked from the portfolio. Those services are run by other people and have their own rules.

Who operates this website

The site is presented by Belal, under the name Deadly. That is the name shown in the logo, homepage, and footer. The website does not publish a separate legal entity, company number, or mailing address.

In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this website. “You” means a visitor, or a person who sends a quote or a chat message.

Information you provide

You can browse the portfolio without giving us your name. We receive the following information only if you choose to send it.

The Get Quote form asks for:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• A Discord username, which is optional.
• A project type, chosen from the list or typed if you select Other.
• A message describing the project.

Those fields are saved in the website database with the date and time. The same record also stores the IP address presented to the web server and the browser user-agent string sent with the submission.

Live chat stores the text you send, whether the sender was the visitor or the operator, and the time of each message. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, identity documents, or other secrets. The form and chat are not built to collect them.

Information collected automatically

This application does not include a separate analytics or advertising tracker. Loading a page does not, by itself, write a visitor profile into the website database.

The application does record connection data in these cases:

• Quote submissions store the IP address and user-agent, as described above.
• Opening live chat creates a random session identifier and stores when that session was created and last seen. The chat tables do not have columns for IP address or user-agent.
• The hosting provider or web server may keep its own access logs, such as IP address, time, requested address, and browser details. This project does not configure or display those host logs, so we cannot describe their retention from the source code.

Your browser also contacts third parties while the page loads. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Font Awesome icons are loaded from the cdnjs service on Cloudflare. Images may be loaded from hosts such as ImgBB or Elitepvpers, or from another image address saved in the site content. Those hosts receive the connection data that a normal browser request includes, including IP address and browser information. We do not control their logs.

Accounts and authentication

Visitors cannot register an account on this website. There is no public sign-up form, password reset, or member profile.

A private admin area exists so the operator can edit the site and read quote and chat records. That area uses a username, a hashed password, and a PHP session cookie. It is not available as a visitor account. This policy does not describe the admin password or other private credentials.

Game servers and character information

The portfolio names Silkroad-related servers and links to public forum threads, mostly on Elitepvpers. This website does not host those games, does not create game accounts, and does not receive character names, rankings, or in-game activity from them.

If you type a server name, character name, or similar detail into a quote or a chat message, it is stored only as part of that message. It is not placed in a separate game-account database.

Donations, payments, and transactions

This website does not accept donations, process card payments, sell virtual currency, or create orders. There is no payment form and no payment-provider integration in the site. A quote request is a message, not a transaction.

If you later pay the operator outside this website, that payment is handled by whatever service you both use. This site does not receive or store card numbers, wallets, or payment receipts unless someone pastes them into a message. Please do not do that.

Quotes, live chat, and other messages

Quote messages and live chat are the communication tools built into the site. The operator can read them in the private admin area. There is no public board where other visitors can read your message.

Automatic thank-you emails are currently enabled. If your quote contains an email address, the site tries to send a short acknowledgement. That email does not include the text of your message.

SMTP delivery is currently not enabled. When an acknowledgement is sent, the site uses the web server’s mail function.

Testimonials on the homepage are entered by the operator. A testimonial may show a name, a short role, a rating, a comment, and an image. There is no public form that publishes a review automatically. Some testimonial images are loaded from Elitepvpers or another image host.

The public Discord profile linked from the contact section is devdeadly. A conversation that stays on Discord is handled by Discord. It is not copied into this website’s database unless you also send the same information through the quote form or live chat.

Discord

Discord applications operated by us are covered by the separate Discord Privacy Policy. This section is only about Discord links and the website contact webhook.

The website links to a Discord user profile. Following that link is optional. Discord then processes the visit under Discord’s own terms. This site does not offer Discord login, and it does not receive your Discord user ID unless you include it in a message.

A Discord webhook is currently saved in the site settings, so each quote submission is forwarded to Discord. The webhook address is not published on this page.

The forwarded quote contains the name, contact details, and message. It does not add a separate copy of the IP address or user-agent in the webhook text. Live chat is not sent to that webhook. Once a message reaches Discord, Discord’s retention and security practices apply to that copy. We cannot delete Discord’s copy for you.

How information is used

We use the information above to:

• Read and reply to quote requests and live chat.
• Send the automatic thank-you when that setting is on.
• Keep a record so a conversation can continue.
• Operate the website, investigate abuse, and fix errors.
• Show testimonials that the operator chooses to publish.

We do not sell personal information. The source code has no advertising network, data-broker feed, or similar sale of visitor information.

Legal bases

Some privacy laws require a reason, often called a legal basis, before personal information is used. This section explains the reasons that match what the site actually does. Mentioning those laws is not a claim that the site has been audited or certified under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or any other statute.

• You asked us to read a quote or a chat message and to reply.
• Running the site, keeping a record of a conversation, and protecting it from abuse are ordinary operation of a portfolio and contact site.
• The thank-you email, when enabled, is part of handling the request you sent. It is not a separate newsletter.

Visiting this page, or reading the Terms of Use, is not consent to every possible use of personal information. The quote form and live chat are optional. If a law that applies to you requires a more specific consent, do not send the information until that requirement is met.

Sharing and third parties

We share personal information only in the ways this site is built to share it:

• The host that stores the website and its database. The host’s name and country are not recorded in this project.
• Discord, when a quote webhook is configured, as described above.
• The mail system used for a thank-you email, and the provider that receives that email.
• Google, when your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts.
• Cloudflare, when your browser loads Font Awesome from cdnjs.
• Image hosts your browser contacts, including ImgBB, Elitepvpers, and any other image address used on the site.
• A person or authority when we must do so to comply with law, or when it is needed to respond to abuse, fraud, or a security incident.

There is no payment processor, public authentication provider, or analytics vendor integrated into this website. Information we control is the copy in the site database. Information handled by Discord, email providers, Google, Cloudflare, image hosts, and the hosting company is under their own terms once it reaches them.

Retention and deletion

Quote records and live chat transcripts stay in the website database until the operator deletes them. The application has no automatic expiry date and no visitor button that erases a quote or a chat. The admin screens can view recent records. They do not currently include a delete button, so removal is a manual change to the stored data.

The live chat cookie in your browser is set to last about one year. Deleting that cookie stops the browser from presenting the same chat session. It does not delete messages already stored on the server.

If you ask us to delete information we control, we will remove or correct the matching record when we can reasonably identify it. We may keep a limited copy if we need it to prevent abuse, to establish or defend a legal claim, or because a law that applies requires it. We cannot promise deletion of copies held by Discord, an email provider, a font or image host, or the hosting company’s own logs.

Cookies and similar technologies

The public site uses a small number of cookies. It does not use them for advertising, and it does not set an analytics cookie of its own.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block the chat cookie, live chat may not stay attached to the same conversation. Blocking cookies does not stop the quote form from storing the message you submit.

Google Fonts and cdnjs may use their own technical storage when your browser requests those files. That storage is controlled by those providers.

Security

The application uses hashed admin passwords, a token on admin forms, escaped output on public pages, and an HttpOnly flag on the chat cookie. Quote and chat text is stored in a database file on the server in readable form. The application code does not encrypt that file, and it does not itself force every visit to use HTTPS.

These measures reduce risk. They do not make the site impossible to breach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not promise absolute security or a named security certification.

International transfers

The country where the website is hosted is not stated in this project. Your quote or chat may therefore be stored outside your own country, but we cannot name that country from the source code.

Google, Cloudflare, Discord, email providers, and image hosts may process connection data or message content in other countries, including the United States. Their privacy terms describe that handling. If your local law restricts international transfers, treat that as an unresolved point before you send information you are not comfortable transmitting.

Children

This website is a professional portfolio for development work. It is not directed at children, and it does not ask for a date of birth. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has sent personal information through the quote form or live chat, contact us and ask for that record to be deleted. We will delete the record we can identify in the site database.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have a right to access personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain uses, receive a copy, or complain to a privacy regulator. Not every right exists in every country. This page does not claim that a particular statute applies to every visitor, and it does not claim official compliance with one.

We will consider a request under the law that actually applies. You can also stop using the quote form and live chat at any time. That choice does not erase a message that was already stored.

Access, correction, and deletion requests

The address shown on the website is [email protected]. The contact link opens [email protected]. You can use either published address for a privacy request, or write through [email protected].

Tell us whether you want access, correction, or deletion, and include enough detail to find the record, such as the name or email you used and the approximate date. We may ask you to confirm that the record is yours before we change it. There is no online account where you can download or erase the data yourself.

We will reply within a reasonable time. This page does not promise a fixed number of days, because the deadline, if any, depends on the law that applies and on facts that are not published here.

Third-party websites

Project links, the Elitepvpers profile, Discord, and external images take you, or your browser, outside this website. Their collection and use of information are their own. A link is not an endorsement of that site’s privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page and changing the last-updated date. The site does not keep a public archive of older versions. An update applies to later visits and later messages. It does not rewrite the fact that a message you already sent was handled under the policy in place when you sent it, except where the law requires a change or the edit only makes the wording clearer.
